Summer Time

Why do I feel like summer is already over? I simply can't go back to that horrible wintery weather yet. These are some of the things I've been enjoying this summer so far.

Splash Pads, or anything with water really

Gardening, even though I've only gotten a few strawberries :(

Warm sunshine!!

Watching bikers, walkers, and roller blade's on the trail behind our house.

Watching my little guy grow up!

The best part has been spending time with family and seeing friends.
So far the worst part has been all the weeding I've done. This place was full of weeds!!! Sadly, so much more to do!

Still at least another month of summer. Which means, seeing my family, a wedding, a week in park city with the Bainbridge family, and a week with the newlyweds! So many things to still look forward to!

A Week of Everything!

Summer just can't end, I'm having way too much fun with everyone and especially Carter. I've had made so many great memories already, but there is still so much fun yet to come. Yes! Here are some of the pictures we took this week.

Monday: Mini Golf

It was super hot! Near the end we didn't care, but we did finish. Carter was our extra obstacle!

Tuesday: Debbie's Birthday

We went to Pie Pizzaria for Debbie's birthday lunch. The pizza was delicious but Carter enjoyed the wading pool near by.

One of the plates said, "Carter was here." We thought that was ironic.

Wednesday: Kalli Visits/Splash Pad

I didn't get any pictures of Kalli :( But Carter loved the splash pad. We lasted about and hour and half before Carter wanted to go back home.

Thursday: Kalli, Carter and I got to Gardener Village

I have been to Gardener Village, but I've never really walked around. We did a scavenger hunt and looked into some of the stores. Very cute!

Saturday: Xactware Party

John's work rented out all of Thanksgiving Point for their summer party.
I was excited because I've heard the garden is beautiful, but had never visited before. I wasn't disappointed. John even graced me with a family picture or two!! Then we went to the petting farm, the museum and then back to the gardens for dinner and a comedian (who I thought was boring), and Carter enjoyed a soccer ball. It was so cute, he was having a crawl off to get to the ball first and beat a 13 month old boy.
GO CARTER!! Don't worry, he shared :)

What an amazing week! It is going to be hard to top this one!
