Have you heard of Pinterest?

So there is a new website I have discovered called Pinterest, have you heard of it? I know I'm late getting on but I'm on the ball now. The problem with Pinterest is that it has so many ideas that I think are amazing and know I will never be able to accomplish. Luckily, most of the people I follow do food recipes and I'm always ready to try new food, especially if it is healthy.

I don't really understand the pinning process yet, I guess I'm just benefiting from everyone else's hard work so far, but I'm okay with that. Here are some of the things I have tried and want to try!

Tried

I printed this off and we are hiding eggs tonight for some people in our ward.

Simply delish! John's favorite ice cream we have tried so far.

Allison and Mom Visit

My mom and Allison came over to visit a week before Allison went into the MTC, and my mom stayed a week afterwards. We shed tears when we said goodbye, laughed a lot, ate about 10 pounds onto all of us, and loved each other with the time we had left together. Here are some of the things that we did.

Allison holding her nephew...

Carter revealing himself...

first time ever feeding Carter food...

making ice cream...

life size bunnies...

bike riding nap...

Chilling at the mall (we did a lot of shopping and Carter was a trooper most of the time)...

Eating lots of junk food...

Starting my garden...

and many more memories!

Garden Plans

I'm so excited this year to have a garden! John and I did one two years ago and did really well. The only downfall was that some people thought it was a community garden and stole my food. I sometimes hope they were starving people that I helped save, but I doubt it.

With our huge yard John and I are going big (at least that is what is planned.) We are going to do 6 garden boxes with over 12 different veggies and fruit and to build a simple green house to go over it all.

So far we have 2 blueberry bushes, 2 raspberry bushes, and one grape vine going and next weekend we are going to start all of our other seeds. I can't wait to see fresh food!!

Ice Cream Update

With our new ice cream maker toy we have now made: white chocolate raspberry ice cream, cookies and cream ice cream, mint ice cream, and cake batter ice cream.

My favorite has been the white chocolate raspberry, but I liked how easy the mint ice cream was to make. John's favorite has been cookies and cream. I think we are getting the hang of it now.

Our next adventure in the ice cream maker world is cookie dough. I love cookie dough, but I think I would rather just eat the cookie dough than stick it in ice cream. We are going to take it to the in-laws to put on top of brownies.

Ice Creams Yet to Try
After visiting Pinterest and some other websites I have found some new ice creams I want to try.

Banana Toasted Coconut

Peanut Butter

Smores

Snicker doodle

and whatever else we think of!
