The mission if John decided to let me accept was finding Carter a dresser. (My cousin Noelle was nice enough to give us one but the drawers kept falling off the track and it was driving me crazy so he really needed a new one). My budget was $400, Salt Lake area, and my deadline was before my sanity ran out with the old one.
My first sighting of the perfect dresser was about a week and a half ago when we went to Costco. There it was standing there acting all causal as I pulled John over to only get a nonchalant shrug. Since his excitement level reached a 1 I decided that better dressers might be out there.
I searched the web, trying to find anything else but realized that I had to get the one at Costco. So the next day I told John to go to Costco after work and I would meet him there. Being so excited I got there early only to discover that they had sold out! I couldn't believe it! My precious dresser was gone. So I was devastated and over the weekend we looked at some other stores. Nothing could compare to that perfect dresser.
Yesterday I decided that my target was the Costco dresser and I had to find one if there was even a chance of getting one. So first I drove down to Orem, only to be let down. But today I drove to the Sandy Costco and there it stood! I was so excited! There were two left and it was cheaper than the Lehi one so I called John and he said we could get both (since we don't have a dresser either). I was so afraid to even leave the dressers but I went to the front and asked if I could buy them now and get them later and they said yes.
Mission accomplished! It sounds pathetic, but when I have decided I want something, it is practically all I can think about until I get it or I can't find it. But doesn't it look great?
